What you can expect from the process.

1. Have Questions: Use the contact button to send me e-mail. You can ask me any questions you wish to see if I would be a good fit and we can talk about setting up an initial appointment.

2. Prior to your first appointment: Take the time to print and fill out the forms in the form tab. If you are not able to do so for whatever reason, please arrive to your first appointment at least 15 minutes in advance to complete these necessary forms prior to your scheduled appointment.

3. During your initial appointment (which will last 1.5 hours) my focus will be on getting to know you and your immediate needs and goals. Should you choose to obtain treatment through your insurance provider, this will also be the time I will have to assess any symptoms you may be experiencing and formulate a diagnosis. I recommend that your focus be on evaluating your level of comfort with me, my practice style, and the environment I can provide. You should feel free to ask any questions you want. Together we will work on translating your needs into measurable goals on which we can begin to work in treatment.

4. If you decide that pursuing treatment with me may be beneficial to you, we will arrange an ongoing treatment schedule which can vary from appointments every week to once a month. Sessions are usually an hour unless otherwise indicated. Sessions can either be individual or include others.
